| Update Carrier Security Fee | 31/05/2012 |
| Dear Customer, MSC , Mediterranean Shipping Company , kindly informs the trade ofan update on the applied security charges. MSC Geneva adjusts the CARRIER SECURITY FEE (CSF) to USD 11 or EURO 9/container, applicable as from July 1st 2012,on all worldwide shipments. This has been necessitated due to the growing cost of compliance with security risk and risk development plans, administration and operational expenses, all related to the up-grading of security on our MSC vessels to protect crew, cargo and vessels. THIS FEE will be charged ON A PREPAID, COLLECT OR PAYABLEELSEWHERE BASIS same as the FREIGHT payment type. The local ISPS level applied by MSC Belgium will remain at EURO 9/container and will be charged on local basis , for all import and export containers.
