Dear Customer, please note that the National Port Authority in Venezuela have decided to implement a new operational port scheme in which Puerto Cabello Port will no longer accept the redelivery back of empties from clients inside the port zone.
This decision was made mandatory in order to prepare a new external container yard to receive the empties back from the clients. Therefore a %u201CDrop-Off%u201D surcharge will be immediately implemented as a contribution to the costs generated by this new Port Authority decision as follows. - USD 200 per container (all types and sizes)
The above surcharge will be applied on any new bookings with immediate effect on a Prepaid basis. Validity until June 30, 2010
