| Dear Customer, We noticed we are receiving more and more containers for which the seals are put in the wrong place. In the attached file with pictures you can see what are the right and the wrong place to put the seal. There is only one correct place to put the seal. If a container is delivered with the seal at the wrong place, the container will be correctly sealed by the terminal operator at a fixed cost of Euro 75/seal/container. The seal at the bottom is only to be used as an extra seal and is considered to be a secondary seal. MSC will consider a container wrongly sealed as not sealed at all. Containers arriving at the terminal not sealed at all will be sealed by the terminal operator at a fixed cost of Euro 75/seal/container. Effective date: 01/01/2010.
