| NEW – HAZARDOUS CARGO: On-carriage Declaration!! | 10/12/2009 |
| Following to the new Antwerp Port Regulations for IMO-cargo, as from 01/01/2010, the IMO declaration for withdrawal from the terminal must be performed obligatory by a liable and certified representative. It is the responsibility of the consignee to declare the IMO-cargo for on-carriage. The consignee will have to appoint an Antwerp based liable party to declare the withdrawal from the terminal. The on-carriage declaration needs to be based on the MSC Belgium Discharge declaration (as per manifest details). The cargo should be removed from the terminal within the legal period failing of which the responsibility and all costs involved will be for account of the consignee. MSC Belgium can, upon instructions, declare the IMO-cargo for withdrawal from the terminal. Cost: AC 25 per container For more info, please contact lclaus@mscbelgium.com - 32 3 543 22 95 |
